How To Use
Here's how to install your custom wall decal.
Things you'll need before you get started:
- Instructions (included)
- Painters Tape
- Squeegee (included)
- Xacto Knife (optional)
Step 1: POSITION DECAL
Position your wall graphic on your wall where you plan to place it. Your decal is cut down as a rectangle for easy measuring if need be. Secure your wall decal with masking or painting tape at the top of the wall graphic.
(The tape acts as a hinge for the project.) You can see your wall decal through its semi-transparent transfer tape.
Step 2: PLACE TAPE VERTICALLY
After your wall graphic is hinged with tape at the top take another piece of painters tape and apply a piece vertically all the way down the graphic.
Step 3: PEEL OFF TOP PAINTERS TAPE
Peel off the painters tape you applied on the top of the graphic (running from left to right). Be sure the vertical piece of tape is still secured.
Step 4: PEEL BACK PAPER BACKING
Flip the wall decal sheet to the side and slowly peel off the bottom paper backing layer.
Take a piece of tape and let the decal rest on the transfer tape. (If parts of the decal want to stick to the backing, slowly manipulate the backing to help the decal to stick to the top layer.)
(TIP) Using a Xacto Knife helps if the sticker backing is sticking to the paper while pulling it off.
Step 5: CUT PAPER BACKING OFF
Step 6: APPLY GRAPHIC TO WALL
Apply graphic to the wall.
1. Hold the transfer tape tight and straight.
2. Use the squeegee to apply the graphic to the wall.
*Work from the left to the right making upward, downward motions.
Step 7: PEEL BACK PAINTERS TAPE
Peel off Painters Tape and REPEAT STEP #6 on the other side
Step 8: PEEL OFF TRANSFER TAPE
Carefully peel off the sticky top layer of Transfer Tape.
